In Lifesycle, Directors and Company Owners have the ability to restrict access to certain parts of the system for other users.
For example, you can restrict certain users from purchasing SMS, AML, and Title Deed credits.
To do this, you need to go Settings >> Branch Settings
From here, you need to select the branch which has the users you are going to edit.
Then, underneath the user you wish to edit the permissions for, click 'Permissions'
PLEASE NOTE: If you see a user that does not have the permissions button underneath them, it means they are also company owner or director and have access to all parts of the system.
You will then see a list of permissions that you are able to edit.
From here, you be will be able to select what this user has permission to do.
If the check box is blank they DO NOT have permission.
If the check box contains a tick, it means this user DOES have permission.
For some permissions, you will be able to limit access to one or multiple branches only.
As an example, lets give this user permission to manage AML credits.
When we tick the box, we will be able to select the branches this user can manage AML credits for.
This user can now Manage AML credits for the Birchington, Margate, and Wokingham branches, but does not have permission to manage AML credits for the remaining branches.
If a user that does not have permission to parts of the system, they will see Padlocks on the areas they do not have access too.
If they try to access this part of the system, a pop up will show, asking them to speak to their administrator for access.
For things like credit management where it is split by branch, it looks a little different.
Anywhere the user clicks where it is greyed out with a padlock, will bring the same pop up asking them to speak to their administrator for access.
