Whenever a search profile is created (either by you manually in branch or by the applicant online) when selecting the property type, Lifesycle will automatically include other property types which can cross over to the original property type selected, to increase the matches for your more unique properties.

Let's take a look at how this works. Let's create a search profile and select a property type.

First, let's take a look at Detached and see what that brings in.

Once we have selected Detached, lets go to Other/Advanced to dsee all the different property types that will pull in.

As you can see below, Lifesycle will automatically pull in other property types that could fall under the branch of Detached.

So as an example, if you list a property as a Coach House, it will still match with those applicants who have just opted for Detached, as a Coach house can also be described as a detached property and it will increase your match rate. If you wish to remove any of these other property types then simply untick them from the list.

Next let's take a look at Semi Detached.

First we select Semi Detached, then go to Other/Advanced to see the list.

As you can see, multiple property types are listed as Semi Detached can cross over in to other property types.

As an example, if you listed a cottage it would still match with semi detached search profiles as the two property types can overlap. Again, if you wish to remove these other options from the matching, then simply untick the property types you wish to remove.
