Sometimes, you may have couples buying a house together. Although all contacts should be separate in Lifesycle (No Mr and Mrs Smith as one contact anymore) it is possible to have one search profile for two people and take them both right through to completion.
Let's imagine Mr. Smith is looking to buy and has set up a search profile, and later on it comes to your knowledge that he is buying the property with Mrs. Smith.
In order to add Mrs. Smith to her husbands profile, we first need to go to Mr. Smiths contact detail, then click Search Profile, as seen below:
Now we can see Mr. Smiths active search profile, in order to add Mrs. Smith, hover over the little pink icon, and click Add new contact.
This opens a pop up box, in which you will enter Mrs. Smiths details. If Mrs. Smith is already in the system, just enter in the surname and search for the contact. If Mrs. Smith isn't in the system, enter her details as you would if you were adding a new contact, and press save.
Once you press save, you will be taken back to Mr. Smith's profile, and when you hover over the pink icon, you will see Mrs. Smith has been added.
Also when we go to Mrs. Smith's search profile, we can see that Mr. Smith is there.
From here you can make viewing appointments and offers from either Mr or Mrs. Smith, and when you get through to the sales progression, both contacts will be there as purchasers.
