The Timeline gives you a chronological list of the contact's activity. This includes all emails and SMS that have been sent, blogs that have been read, offers made, and appointments with your team.
You can search for a particular note using the search bar.
You can also use the note filter to only see certain types of notes on the timeline. 'Notes' is anything you have added in manually, for example, a note on the timeline, a note in sales progression this contact is involved in, a note on the client verification etc.
To add a note on to the timeline, simply scroll up to the top of the timeline and add your note, and then click 'Save Note'
Contact history is everything else, what emails have they recieved, what blogs did they read, did they make an offer or book a viewing etc.
The detailed activities button at the top right of the timeline, adds extras in to the timeline like web visits, forms filled out, and also tasks that have been created for that contact.
You can refresh the timeline by clicking the curly arrows next to the detailed activities button.
You can also filter the time line based on time. You can select to only see what has happened, this week, this month, this year, or for all time.
When going through your notes, you can pin anything you find important to the top of the timeline. Simply hover over the note, and click the pin.
Pinned notes have a magenta tint to them and are stuck at the top of the timeline. To unpin a note, simply follow the same process. Click on the pin to unpin it.
When going through contact history, there is a 'see more' option on some of the notes. This expands the note so you can see more of the relevant information, for example if you want to see the email that was sent to the contact, you can click see more, and the email will appear below.
When looking at an email in the timeline, if the envelope is open, it means the email was opened by the contact. Hover over the envelope to see the time the email was opened.
If the envelope is closed, the email has not yet been opened.
