When you create a new market appraisal for a property you already have in the system. The previous property you had in the system will be archived.
This works automatically as soon as you book the new market appraisal on the same property address.
When a property is archived, it also removes that properties owners from showing up in audiences that you have created. Audiences will only bring up vendors/landlords of properties that are active. It will discard vendors/landlords of properties that are archived.
If you have a property with 2 seperate market appraisals for sales and lettings, if you create another sales market appraisal, it will only archive the previous sales market appraisal and the lettings market appraisal would remain active, and vice versa.
Let's take a look at how this works:
First let's go to properties >> Market appraisals
We can see below that we currently have a market appraisal for Flat 125 george lane
Now let's go and book in another Market Appraisal for this address.
Now that the appointment is booked, if we go back to our property >> market appraisal list, we can see that the previous appointment is now archived, with the new appointment showing.
We can also manually archive and un-archive properties in the property detail. Let's go in to one of our archived properties to take a look.
On this old, archived, market appraisal, we can click 'un-archive to make it a live again.
We can then click the 'archive' button to make the property archived again.
You can go in to any property in the system, (market appraisal or instruction) and archive that property.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you are archiving a property that is instructed and published to the portals, you must first make sure that you unpublish the property from the portals BEFORE archiving.
