We can import properties in to Lifesycle. We can import MA's that are not yet on the market and instructed properties that are on the market. To start, we need to go to settings >> Import Property.

Let's take a look at each type of import in detail.

Market Appraisals

This is where we would go to import properties we have done a market appraisal for that are not yet on the market. To do this, click '+Add Property'

Then enter in all the details relating to the property. If you enter in a property that is already in the system, the property details will automatically pull over to the new import. If you change the transaction type to lettings, then the page will change to incorporate lettings information. Click 'show more details' to enter in things like garden, parking, electricity etc.

Once the property information has been entered it's time to enter in the contact information.

Then we need to enter in the MA details, and click create.

A pop up will then appear which let's you know the property has been imported and you can either 'fine tune' the property (add in more details), or add another property.

Instruction Properties

This is where we would go to import properties in to Lifesycle that are already on the market.

Again, to do this, click '+Add Property'

Add in the property details. If you enter in a property that is already in the system, the property details will automatically transfer over to the new import. Click 'show more details' to add in things like council tax, parking, garden, electricity etc.

Add in the contact details

Add in the MA details.

Enter in the key features and advert info.

You can then click 'Create without media' and this will create the property without any EPC's, Floor Plans, or Property photos.

This will then give you the option to 'fine tune' the property (add in more details) or import another.

Or you can click 'Create & Add media' and this will create the property and take you through to add EPC's, Floor Plans, Photos, and any other media on to the property before completing.

Again, after completing, you will be invited to fine tune the property, or import another.
