On the property profile, we have a checklist tab. On this tab is a fully customisable list of tasks. We can assign these tasks out, make notes on these tasks and mark them as done.
First, let's take a look at the checklist on the property profile and how it works.
As you can see we have a list of tasks in our checklist. We can assign these tasks out to users.
We can click the tick box on the left too mark the task as done.
We can also change the date and time on the item. You could use this as deadline date, or you could use this to mark when the task was completed.
We can also leave notes on the task on the right.
Now that we have taken a look at how the checklist works, lets take a look at editing the default checklist to make it suit your agency.
We do have a default checklist in Lifesycle which goes:
SALES
AML & Pep check carried out
Vendor contract received & on the system
Land registry check carried out
Call Vendor to get key of property
Check if EPC is valid. If not, check whether they would like to order one.
Proof read the description
Has a board been ordered?
Key code assigned
Property details approved by the vendor/landlord?
EPC ordered
EPC added
EPC paid
LETTINGS:
EPC ordered
EPC added
EPC paid
EPC in date with a valid rating
Gas safety certificate in date
EICR in date
Now to change this, we need to go to settings >> compliance checklist settings.
Now we select which list we would like to edit, sales or lettings.
Now first lets take a look at adding in another task to the checklist. All we have to do is write out our task in the subject box, and click add. PLEASE NOTE: The maximum amount of tasks you can have in each compliance checklist is 20.
As you can see our task is then added to the bottom of our checklist.
To move this task, or any task up and down the checklist, click the 2 black lines on the left of the task and drag it to where you would like it to go and click save.
To edit a task, simply click the box with the pencil in it on the right of the task, then make edits to the task name and click update.
To remove a task from your default checklist, click the x on the right of the task, then click delete to confirm.
