After a Market appraisal is completed and you are ready for instruction, it's important that your property shows correctly in the portals and on the heads up property search page. One of the most important things is the map location.

In order to make sure the property is showing in the correct location, simply go to the details tab in the property, then click map.

From here you can check if the property is showing in the correct location. If your property isn't in the right location, simply drag the red pin to the correct location, and remember to click save. This new map location will then be pulled over to the portals and the heads up property search page when you decide to publish.

Lifesycle will determine the longitude and latitude of the property using various algorithms based on the postcode. If we cannot find the postcode, we will check closest postcodes for a location. If we cannot find the nearest postcode's latitude and longitude. If we still are unable to find the location, we will use the branch location.
