Starting at the top left, Title is not client facing and goes on your calendar. Most agents make this the address or contact name.

If you have the security settings to do so, you can change this to any branch or valuer. You can add multiple users to this appointment by clicking the icon of the person with a plus sign.

Contact Details

Manually tick if the contact is a Vendor, Buyer Landlord or Tenant. In Property Details, you can also choose the valuation type as Sales to mark the contact automatically as a Vendor, or change it to Lettings to automatically mark the contact as a Landlord.

Salutation - change as necessary or leave as unknown

Name and Surname - required information

Email and/or Mobile - every contact that is put into Lifesycle must have either a mobile number or an email address. Contacts must be entered separately - not Mr and Mrs as one contact. Do NOT put a fake email or mobile number in such as your office information. This will cause major issues with your data

If a contact has more than one email address, mobile or landline phone, choose Add New Communication to add these in

10_add_communication.jpg

To find an address throughout Lifesycle, enter the postcode and click Find. Then choose the address from the list of addresses provided

If the address is not listed, choose the closest address and make edits below:

Subscriptions are the email subscriptions for the contact and should not be touched at this time unless the contact specifically asks to not receive emails.

Click Save Contact and the contact record will show

Beneath the contact information you will now see a button to add a new contact (this would be the Mrs. to your Mr. or any additional contact who owns the property)

The appointment screen appears. Click on the 3 dots

Click Quick Send to send the default text of the email and SMS or Edit and Send to edit the information before it goes out to the contact.

If you choose to edit and send the SMS & Email:

  1. Do not change anything in brackets - this is coding and pulls the information directly from the appointment. If you edit this, your email may not look nice.

  2. You will edit and send the email. Then click on the SMS tab to edit and send the SMS

That's it! You've successfully created and sent an appointment to the contact. After you have attended the appointment, you will change it to a market appraisal presentation to send to your potential Vendor or Landlord.
