Click on Properties on the left side menu. It is highlighted in magenta below
Search for and choose the property. Search by entering the criteria such as address or post code and clicking the magnifying glass. Choose the property by clicking on the address. For this article, we choose a market appraisal but the steps are the same for an instruction.
Click on the arrows within the current status located at the top of the Property Profile
Choose a new status from the drop down and click save. Keep in mind that this is a progression - so different statuses appear based on what status the property is currently in. For example, if the current status is Proposal Sent, you will see Instructed Us, Instructed a competitor, and Longterm Prospect. If the status was Instructed Us, and you have converted to an instruction, you will see, Available, SSTC, Exchanged, etc.
To revert a status back to the one it was previously, click the reverse circle next to the status
Then, add your notes and click Revert
A note will appear on the property timeline with the current status, the previous status and who updated the status.
