Sometimes when uploading your property images before making it available, it will seem like the pictures are there and then they suddenly disappear.

There are a couple of reasons as to why this might happen, so it's important we know what to look out for.

File name length.
An update from the portals means that they now no longer accept file names which are more than 50 characters in length. The file may still upload, but an error message will occur when trying to publish the property to the portals. In this case, upload the file as normal, and then change the name of the file through Lifesycle.

Picture Dimensions.

We recommend that property pictures are between 620x412 and 1024x1600. These are the same as the Rightmove requirements. Check the dimensions of your pictures and resize them if they are not inside these requirements.

Number of Pictures.
The maximum amount of pictures allowed on a single property is 33. Again, these are the same as the Rightmove requirements. Check how many pictures you have when you are uploading and ensure that there are no more than 33.

File Type.
Please ensure that all property images are jpeg images when uploading to Lifesycle. They may still upload but they may not pull through to the portals.

If a problem still persists after checking these things, please contact support.
