There are certain automated emails and SMS that can go out to people when keys are overdue and have not been returned to the office on time.
These notifications are optional and can be switched off.
To manage your key management notifications, go to marketing and autopilot >> Automations.
From here, scroll down to the bottom of the list to find your key management notifications.
Here we find three automations, let's take a look in more detail.
The first key management automation is 'When a key is overdue, send the person who checked it out an email'. You can switch this automation off by switching the green slider to the left ensuring it is grey.
PLEASE NOTE: This email is sent out to the USER WHO CHECKED OUT THE KEY, NOT THE USER/PERSON THE KEY WAS CHECKED OUT TOO.
Next we have 'When a key is overdue, send the person who checked it out an SMS'. You can switch this automation off by switching the green slider to the left and ensuring it is grey.
PLEASE NOTE: This SMS is sent out to the USER WHO CHECKED OUT THE KEY, NOT THE USER/PERSON THE KEY WAS CHECKED OUT TOO.
Next we have, 'When a key is overdue, send a notification too'. This means that when a key is over due, Lifesycle will send an email to a selected user. This could be the company owner, branch manager, related user of the property, or a selected user.
If you wish to use this automation, you need to select whether the notification is going to the company owner, branch manager, related user, or a selected user everytime. To do this, select from the drop down list next to the slider.
