When creating an email template, you have the ability to insert a button in to the template. When this button is clicked it performs an action for the recepient. Whether it be taking them to another web page, downloading a file, or sending an email.

To insert a button in to your template, simply select the button icon from the content tab and drag it in to your email template.

To change what is written on the button, simply click on the button and write what you would like it to say.

When we click on the button, we will see the button properties menu show on the right hand side.

Lets take a look at these in more detail.

First we have the Action section. This is where we go to turn the button in to a clickable link, or for an action to be performed. There are several actions we can choose from.

The first is 'Open web page' a very simple tool which means when the button is clicked, it takes them through to another website. Simply select open webpage and enter in the URL of the website you want them to go too once they click on the button.

We also have the ability to 'Link file' which means when the button is clicked, a particular file you select can be downloaded to the recepients device.

To do this, click Link file.

This will then open up the file manager, where you can select the file you wish for the recepient to download, or you can add the file in to the file manager first, and then select it.

The next action we have is send email. This means that clicking the button will prompt the recepient to send an email which is pre populated with text you provide, to an email address that you provide. To do this, select 'Send Email' from the drop down and enter in the email address you wish the email to be sent too, followed by what you want the email to say.

The next action from the list is make call, this means when the button is clicked, the recepient will recieve an action to call a number of your choice.

To do this, select 'Make Call' from the dropdown list and enter in the phone number you want the recepient to call when the button is clicked.

The final action we can have on our images is send SMS. This means when the recepient clicks on the button, they will be prompted to send a text message which is pre-populated with the text you provide, to a number you provide.

To do this, select 'send sms' from the drop down list and then enter in the telephone number that will recieve the text message and then the body of the message.

The next set of Button options we have are for things like alignment, font, colour and font size.
