When a contact completes your instant valuation, they are sent an email which invites them to create a social distancing valuation with you. Instant valuations are based on algorithms and, often, they do not give an accurate figure. All of our research shows that the majority of people who fill out an instant valuation are not ready to have you out to your home for at least 6-10 months - often going up to 18 months! We start the journey of nurturing these clients until they are ready with the below email and an option to have a more accurate figure without you actually going to visit the property.
Once the instant valuation is completed, the contact is sent an email which looks like this:
As you can see this invites the contact to tell you a little more about the property and help you give it a more accurate valuation. Once the contact clicks they the link, they are taken to a page which looks like this:
Here they can add a lot more information about their property which will help you create a more detailed valuation.
As you can see the contact also has the options to upload as many photos of the property that they can to help you with your valuation. Once they have done this and click send, They recieve a message which looks like this:
Then all the information that they have submitted comes through to you in Lifesycle.
Let's take a look at where to find it and what to do with it.
First of all, go to leads, then Social Distancing Valuations:
From here you can see all of the SDV's that have come in to Lifesycle, and you will be able to see if MA's have been created based on the information given to you or not. For now, lets find our most recent SDV that has come in and create an MA for the contact.
We can use the filter to show SDV's with or without an MA created, sort, and show SDV's by type.
To open up the SDV simply click the 3 dots on the right and then click detail.
From here you can see all of the information that was entered by the contact, and when you click the photos tab you can see all photos that were uploaded.
Once you have made your valuation and you would like to send a MA over to the contact, click Convert to Market Appraisal or close the SDV please note only SDVs that do not have a market appraisal can be closed.
If you have converted to a Market Appraisal, it will take you to the MA booking page where you will fill in the details for a Market Appraisal appointment as you normally would. The contact details, property address, property type and style, bedrooms, bathrooms, and receptions will be auto populated from the SDV.
This then creates a property and MA appointment in Lifesycle, in which you can create, edit and send out your MA to the contact as you normally would.
We can also close SDV's that we are finished with and no longer want to see. Please note: Only SDV's that have not had an MA created can be closed.
You can also access and manage your SDV's from the properties page by clicking Properties >> Prospects.
Find your property
Now click convert to MA.
