When in the sales progression, we have Milestones. As these milestones are checked off and completed, it increases the percentage of the Buyer and Vendor status.
These milestones are fully customisable in the sales progression, and you can also set a default set of milestones for each branch. First let's talk about how we can customise the milestones in the sales progression itself.
First you can remove any milestones you don't want from the list by clicking on the rubbish can on the right of the milestone. When you remove a milestone the percentage of the buyer/vendor status will automatically update to accommodate the change.
You can add in extra milestones by clicking on the + icon at the bottom of the vendor/buyer milestone list.
Once you have clicked the icon simply write out what you want the milestone to say and click add.
The milestone will then be added to the list.
To change the order of the milestones, simply click on the 2 horizontal lines on the left of the milestone, and then drag the milestone to where you would like it to be in the list.
Click, hold, drag, release.
If you have made changes or updated to your milestones, be sure to click save at the bottom!
PLEASE NOTE: If you change the branch on the sales progression, the default milestones will automatically switch over to the default list for that particular branch.
However, if the milestones have been customised in the sales progression before you change the branch, it will not update the milestones to the default list for that particular branch, as they have been customised.
Now that Milestones are fully customisable, the auto update of the MOS milestone when you send the MOS no longer occurs. This now has to be entered in manually, as all milestones are now bespoke.
Now lets take a look at setting up the default milestones lists. To do this, go to settings >> milestones.
Here you can change the individual milestones lists for the buyer and seller.
You can also change the default lists company wide, and per individual branch.
Please Note: Any edits that are made to company/branch milestone lists will only change current milestone lists that have NOT been customised or updated already.
Just like in the sales progression, you can change the order of milestones by clicking and dragging the two horizontal lines on the left of the milestone and dragging it to the position you would like it to be. You can also remove milestones by clicking the rubbish can on the right.
To add a milestone to the default list, scroll to the bottom, type out your new milestone, and click add.
You will also see on/off switches on the right of the milestones, this is just an indicator of whether you are ready to have this milestone showing up in your lists when you go to the sales progression.
Once you have made all the necessary changes to your default milestones lists, be sure to click save at the bottom of the screen!
