In Lifesycle, we have an area labelled 'suppliers'. Here we can add in and manage all the people we regularly work with outside of estate agency. For example, contractors for property management, solicitors etc. To get here, we go to Operations >> Suppliers.
Once we are here we can see all the different departments we may work with and how many companies we have in each department that we have in our system. If we click the arrow on the right, we can see the companies in more detail.
Once we have clicked the arrow on the right, we can see the list of companies in that department. Here, we can see the company name, address, and total number of members in that company.
We can add a new company into the department by clicking the Large magenta button on the top left of the screen which reads, 'Add New Company'.
Then just enter in the company details to add the new company in to your list of suppliers.
Now lets take a look at how we add members in to a company. Click on the 3 dots of a company and click 'Detail'
Here, you can see all the current members of the company, the number of properties they are related too and when they were added.
Too add in a new member to the company, click the large magenta button that reads 'Add new member' and then enter in the contacts details and click save.
These suppliers also integrate with the sales chain and the MOS. If you enter in a new solicitor in the sales chain or MOS for example they will automatically be added to suppliers. If you are entering in the details of a solicitor which is already in your list of suppliers, you will be able to select them from a drop down list which will in turn auto populate the fields in either the sales chain or the MOS.
Too add in a new company from the MOS, click 'create new company'
Then Fill out the details of the new company, and click save.
Once you have added a new company, you will need to add a new employee. To do this click 'add new employee'
Then enter in the new employees details.
Then your solicitor details will look like this:
If the company already exists in your suppliers, then just search the firm name, and select the firm.
Once you have added the company, you can choose whether you would like to add a new employee (a solicitor at that firm who you haven't worked with before/ isn't in the suppliers database) Or you can simply search the employee name from that company and select the employee/solicitor.
