Digital Contracts in Lifesycle are the way to close your listings faster. Send a contract from your mobile phone (they can sign on a mobile as well!). Then, sit back and relax - Lifesycle will allow you follow your contact through the process with live notifications. Lifesycle provides everything but the celebratory pint.
Your company owner will have loaded contract templates into Lifesycle, so your job is relatively easy: choose the correct template, make a few edits and send it to the contact of your choice.
Here is your mission should you choose to accept it:
Click Operations
Click Contracts
Choose Existing Templates
Click on the mail icon next to the contract you want to send
Name: Edit the name of the contract if you would like - (we usually put the contact name in front of the default contract name.)
Sign By: The valuer - it defaults to the user who is signed in
Expiry Date: The contract will self destruct in 5 seconds... or 5 days. Choose the expiry date - we recommend at least 7 days. Please note, if a contract has expired, you will need to recreate the contract to send it out again.
Email Template: This is the email that will go out to the contact asking them to sign. The default email template has been chosen by your company owner but you are able to choose any email template in Lifesycle.
Click anywhere in the text box to edit the text of the contract. We recommend that the contract have very minimal things for you to edit, please speak to your branch manager or company owner to find out what edits are needed in your templates before they are ready for your potential client to see.
Choose the property you want to send the contract out to. Can't remember the post code? Click on Contact and search for their name.
The contact must have a mobile number and email address to send a contract. If they don't, they will show in a red box. You can edit the contact if they don't have one.
Notify: Send the contact an email and or SMS once they have signed up (the defaults are in there already) and select who you want notified when the contract has been looked at and signed.
Click Quick Send or Edit and Send - quick send will send default text and edit and send allow you to make changes before sending
Your contract has been sent - mission accomplished!
