We all know that getting a signature is the goal - remove stumbling blocks for your contacts and give them an easy experience that will leave them feeling happy to sign with you.
When you send someone a contract, they will receive an email asking them to review your contract and sign.
This is the default email - which is easy to edit.
When they click to sign, they are asked to verify their identity using a code Lifesycle sends through SMS on their mobile phone. Once they agree to receive the SMS, we send it and this appears. Two Factor Authentication ensures that your contract is being signed by the correct contact.

At this time, you receive a notification that they are looking at your contract and a second notification that tells you they clicked to ask for the SMS code to be sent to them.
Please note, if the contact does not receive the code/pin, you can provide the code to them by accessing their contact profile and looking in the timeline. We recommend they request the code while you are on the phone with them, refresh the contact profile and provide it then as the timeout can cause old codes sent to be invalid.
Once the pin has been entered, they gain access to their contract to review and sign
At the bottom of the contract, they are directed to sign
They are able to type or draw their signature, click to agree to your terms and then click sign
Once the signature is completed, they will click confirm and finish
A thank you message will appear where they can click to download their contract
They receive an email and or SMS (depending on your preferences in Notify)
At this time, you receive a notification that they have signed the contract and you can reach out for next steps.
Alongside the notifications you receive, you can view contact activity by clicking on the Contract. On the left side is a timeline of all activity related to the contract. Each Contact is listed out so you easily see who has done what.
The blue arrow means this contact clicked on the link. This time, it was the email as the SMS was not sent.
If a contact decides not to sign, you will receive a notification and you will need to reach out to help them.
