Important Notes:
1. If you have an Unsubscribed contacts list that was created before 25/05/2024, it will need to be recreated as all contacts have been migrated to this system. If you need assistance with this, please contact us at [email protected]
2. When sending an email from the contact or Audiences, if you create an email template on the spot, it is a TRANSACTIONAL email. To send a marketing email, please create a template in the email templates section of Lifesycle.
Here is a step-by-step guide if you prefer:
Every email that is sent from Lifesycle, has an unsubscribe button at the bottom. Once the contact clicks on unsubscribe they are able to customise which types of email they receive, unsubscribe from marketing emails and Heads Up Property Alerts.
On occasion, a contact will email you or call to tell you to stop sending emails. If they request you delete them, please contact support with their email address and name to request the contact be deleted.
When they ask to unsubscribe, follow the below steps to unsubscribe a contact:
The Subscriptions section of the Contact Detail page is meant to help you see and manage each contact's content subscriptions.
To view a contact's subscriptions, search for and choose the contact by clicking on Contacts in the left menu. It is highlighted in magenta below.
Search for the contact by entering your criteria in the search bar and pressing the magnifying glass. Then choose the contact by clicking on their name:
Click on the 'about' tab and then Subscriptions to view the Subscription list. Put a tick in the box to show consent and remove the tick if someone unsubscribes. The tick boxes will update automatically if the contact clicks to unsubscribe from any email we send them.
